We have an Adobe Stock account. We use it daily and it’s pricey. I often see the same photos on the web that I see in the Stock library. In fact, the other day a client had an image in a presentation that I also owned. I love the convenience of Adobe Stock, and price aside, it’s pretty easy to spot a “Stock photo.” So I began looking deeper. Then I found Unsplash

Unsplash doesn’t require it, but they do make it easy to credit the author, which you should. You just click the “copy” on the Say Thanks popup and paste it near or under your image. Worst case, the image is named with the authors identity so it will help spread their brand.

I also stumbled upon Gratisography which is a little weird, but also pretty cool. It’s quite genius and you do get the images for free. If you can’t find what you want, you click the link to Shutterstock and the author of the site makes an affiliate commission (which I’m glad to pay to him.)

Did I mention they’re both free and free of any copyright issues or requirements? Enjoy.
